National Guard visited by sports representatives Brandon Rex

NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., and IndyCar driver Graham Rahal visited the National Guard at Atterbury in Edinburgh, Ind. After spending time with the troops, the drivers took several photos, and were given command coins from the units they encountered.

EDINBURGH, Ind. - Soldiers from the Indiana National Guard were treated to a surprise visit by race car drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Graham Rahal of the National Guard Team on July 23, 2014, at Atterbury in Edinburgh, Ind.

The drivers experienced training in firing howitzers, detonation of explosives and techniques on firing an M4 rifle. Both Dale and Graham shared stories with soldiers and emphasized their support for their work and service to their country.
