CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait – This week’s U.S. Army Central Soldier Spotlight is Spc. Andrew L. Sinsuat, USARCENT human resource specialist.
Sinsuat, a Charleston, S.C., native, is an Army reservist assigned to Fort Jackson and has more than two years of service in the U.S. Army Reserves. Sinsuat is eight months into a nine-month deployment to Kuwait.
This is Sinsuat’s first deployment. He plans to reenlist after his initial eight-year contract. He has worked as a systems analyst for the past five years in his civilian job. Sinsuat is currently enrolled in Central Texas College working toward a criminal justice degree.
Q: What is your favorite movie genre?
A: Horror, because I think they are funny.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Caesar salads, because they are good, healthy and nutritious.
Q: What are your goals?
A: To become a noncommissioned officer and work for Space and Naval Warfare Systems as my civilian job.
Q: What are you most proud of?
A: Being a homeowner.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Photography and working on cars.
Q: If you could spend one hour with anyone, who would it be and why?
A: My wife, because she’s my special somebody.
