DOHA, Qatar - The U.S. Army Central, Area Support Group-Qatar Provost Marshal Office provides 24-hour force protection, law enforcement, and community assistance to the soldiers, family members and civilians at Camp As Sayliyah.

The military police patrol the installation and work closely with the local Qatari military police. Our vision is to become the most progressive and efficient law enforcement agency in the military.

This requires the dedication of each soldier and leader to adhere to the fundamental values that we deem essential by this office in order to fulfill our mission. To provide personalized law enforcement service to the community at the highest standard of quality possible, our goal is to invest truth in our soldiers and leaders; relying on their combined judgment, wisdom and experience to generate creative new approaches to community concerns. To be fair, impartial and efficient as we strive to preserve peace, order and safety.

The PMO’s focus is the military police motto of assist, protect and defend. PMO assists the community by supporting events and programs such as triathlons, monthly 5K runs, Boy and Girl Scout visits, distinguished visitors, military police escorts, Family Readiness Group functions and antiterrorism awareness campaigns.

The PMO protects the community through proactive enforcement efforts such as speed enforcement, special security operations, driving under the influence checkpoints and identification checks on Camp As Sayliyah and other areas. Finally, PMO defends the community through the ability to immediately implement increased security measures designed to deter terrorist and criminal activities with access control measures and support the Army’s rapid deployment mission.

The PMO strive to strengthen our partnerships with 1-10 Cavalry, various directorates and tenant units here within the ASG-QA and CAS community in order to improve the force protection posture.

Our team is dedicated to this mission and with the assistance from the community we will continue to accomplish it. Our soldiers and leaders are second to none and the ASG-QA PMO is one of the best that I have had the opportunity to work and serve with in my years in the military police corps. We continue to set the standard across the area of responsibility. We will always take our responsibility seriously and hold those accountable for their actions when it comes to enforcing laws and regulations.

Many see the ASG-PMO as a place where they can come to get all of the latest information on Area Support Group–Qatar policy letters which include access control, alcohol, prohibited activities and items and motor vehicle traffic control here on CAS and the surrounding areas. This is our job and we are here to ensure you, the community, get that information in a timely manner.

Our office works tirelessly to ensure you get the best security and law enforcement assistance possible. We are one of the only offices here on CAS that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The PMO consist of a 24-hour military police desk operation, led by the 57th Military Police Detachment from Hawaii, which consist of processing cases, protective services mission, convoy escort missions, military police investigators. The Defense Biometric Identification System Office of the PMO is the garrison’s centralized location to manage installation access for all of ASG-QA.

The DBIDS Office located in building 200A on CAS is responsible for registering identification cards into DBIDS, issuing installation passes, and ensures that visitor access rosters are processed.

The PMO also provide physical security, antiterrorism, barrier and bunker, explosive ordnance disposal and military working dog support. The soldiers are committed and dedicated to making CAS and other areas the best within U.S. Army Central.

Our team is very professional and knowledgeable in every aspect of the PMO operation. There is no parts of this AOR our team doesn’t touch or have any input on that I have noticed since my arrival here on CAS back in July. You will not find a more diverse group of soldiers and leaders working together as a team than the provost marshal office here on CAS.
