Favorite thing about the military: My favorite thing about the military are the things it incorporates. The discipline and precision as a unit. I love the fact that we put our history in everything that we do as military members. That’s very cool, and it shows that we never forget where we come from.

What I've learned being a airman: One thing that I have learned is that it takes three elements to be an effective airman. First, the respect and honor of our core values: service before self, integrity first and excellence in all we do. Second, is respect for our history and those who have paved the way for the military to become as effective as it is today. Last is bravery. To have bravery is to possess the power of courage, and I think that’s what all of us military members have in common. It brings us closer together and helps us accomplish our mission.

What inspires you to be an airman: I receive my inspiration to be an airman from my family and country. To have the chance to protect those whom I hold dear in my heart, and to have the honor to serve my country, to shield the innocent, is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. Love and honor is inspiration within itself, and those things push me forward every day.
