Double take: Richmond, Va., Marine deploys twice with RCT-7

Corporal Damian Davis, an embarkation specialist with Regimental Combat Team 7, is responsible for the movement of personnel, cargo, vehicles and utilities for units supported by RCT-7. Davis, a 34-year-old native of Richmond, Va., is on his second yearlong deployment in his four years in the Marine Corps.
“By the end of next month, I’ll be an honorary citizen of Helmand province,” Davis joked.
The last time Davis deployed was with RCT-7 in October 2009.
