Klinger joined horses from the U.S. Park Police, Maryland National Capital Park Police, and D.C. Metro Police in the breakfast in honor of the service of horses in the military. Klinger participated in President Ronald Regan's funeral and has a children's book which is modeled after his life.
  • Sgt. Ruben Troyer, senior horse trainer, Caisson platoon, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), allows Rambler, a Caisson horse, to sniff his saddle before placing it on Rambler's back during a horse training session at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va., earlier this month. Troyer ensures each Caisson horse is comfortable with being ridden before the horse participates in any Caisson missions ranging from military funerals to parades.
