ROTC instructor, students deploy

Capt. Ted Dunham, commander of 179th Military Police Company, Georgia National Guard returns the salute of Sgt. Dawn Shoemake during an official combat patch ceremony on Veterans Day in Kabul. Dunham, who works as an ROTC instructor at Georgia Gwinnet College in Lawrenceville, left college life for a nine-month deployment. Shoemake, an ROTC cadet at the college joined Dunham along with five other students who also temporarily withdrew for the deployment.
