Summer reading starts with a splash

Approximately 70 Team McConnell members visited with Sparky the Fire Dog, played with a fire hose and enrolled in the McConnell Library’s reading program. This year’s program, which began June 4 and ends July 28, offers more than 45 activities to keep children’s and adult’s minds engaged during the summer months.
