Sergeant major throws first pitch during Marine Week Cleveland

Sgt. Maj. Michael S. Burke, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, throws out the first pitch at Progressive Field during a Cleveland Indians’ game against the Pittsburgh Pirates June 16 during Marine Week Cleveland. Burke said it was difficult for him to say just what it felt like to throw the first pitch, but he was delighted with the reception Clevelanders gave to the Marines for Marine Week. The game drew a crowd of more than 30,000.
