District Commander Col. Mark Toy discusses STEM and opportunities within the Corps of Engineers with 10th-grade students at Roosevelt High School during his Jan. 20 visit to the STEM high school. The program is part of the Viva Technology program, designed to engage inner city and rural K-12 students, teachers and parents in the applications of technology in order to stimulate interest and academic achievement in math, science and engineering.
