Lt. j.g. Blake Tribou explains the responsibilities of the officer of the deck to Bulgarian navy Lt. Dimitar Haidutov, while embarked aboard USS Philippine Sea (CG 58). Two Bulgarian naval officers and two Bulgarian chief petty officers embarked the ship to observe how the U.S. Navy conducts operations underway. Philippine Sea is on a regularly scheduled deployment in the Black Sea and serves to promote peace and security in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
