USACE recognizes Tech. Sgt. Mark Pechuls

Air Force Col. Benjamin Wham, commander, Afghanistan Engineer District-South, awards Tech. Sgt. Mark Pechuls the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Department of Defense Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the NATO Medal as Command Sgt. Maj. Lorne Quebodeaux looks on. Pechuls deployed with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Afghanistan Engineer District-South, Qalat Resident Office, as a quality assurance representative. He is returning to his home unit, the 509th Civil Engineer Squadron at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., where he is a water fuels systems maintenance civil engineer.
