Air Force Lt. Gen. David Goldfein, U.S. Air Forces Central Command Southwest Asia commander, has lunch with airmen during his visit to Forward Operating Base Nejrab Aug. 21. PRT Kapisa is responsible for conducting counterinsurgency and stability operations, which bolster the capacity and credibility of the Afghan government of Kapisa and further socioeconomic improvement and create the development of a stable, secure, and lasting environment for transition to full Afghan control and administration.
