Tech. Sgt. Brad Manco and Senior Airman Kile Edwards, both from 332nd Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance, perform preparatory work prior to a controlled detonation of ordnance. Manco, who is an EOD team chief, is deployed from MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., and is originally from Pittsburgh, Pa. Edwards, who is an EOD team member, is deployed from Beale AFB, Calif., and is originally from Pendleton, Ind. The EOD flight serves a vital role of dealing with all foreign ordnance on Joint Base Balad and helping keep all other service members on the installation safe.
