Airman 1st Class Bryenna Brooks, a medic with the 101st Special Troops Battalion, 101st Sustainment Brigade, stands with Spc. Craig Richard Jr., of the 59th Quartermaster Company, 142nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 101st Sust. Bde., after Brooks received four awards, including a Purple Heart Medal. Brooks and Richard were in a vehicle with three other soldiers of the 59th when their vehicle took a rocket propelled-grenade during a resupply convoy mission this past week.
