Tyler Parker-Bellinger, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a truck driver with Company E, 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry Regiment, Task Force Ironman, a part of the Iowa National Guard’s 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, Task Force Red Bulls, puts on his body armor outside a mine-resistant ambush-protected on Forward Operating Base Mehtar Lam, Afghanistan, before a convoy mission June 6. Parker-Bellinger participated in a quick resupply of water, food and ammunition to 133rd Inf. Regt. troops who were under heavy fire May 25 in the mountains of the Nuristan province, Afghanistan.
