Capt. Robert Killian, Colorado Army National Guard, is shown in the middle of a 13.1 mile run during the first-ever Boulder half-ironman. Prior to the run he completed a 56 mile bike ride, and a 1.2 mile swim. His time of 4 hours and 10 minutes qualified him to be the Army’s male athlete at the World Championship Ironman in Kona, Hawaii, Oct 9.
