Gen. Charles C. Campbell, commanding general of United States Army Forces Command is escorted by Col. Larry Swift, brigade commander of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, during his visit to the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, Calif. Swift briefed Campbell on the training of 1-1 AD known as "The Ready First Combat Team." The unit is conducting training at NTC in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
