Lt. Col. Oliver North, United States Marine Corps (Ret), founder of Freedom Alliance, stood in front of the Seabee flag, Aug. 22, at the Freedom Alliance concert in Atlanta, Ga. The autographed flag was presented to Lt. Col. North and his organization by one of the Convoy Security Element teams of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion TWO FOUR to show appreciation for the support they have received in recent months. NCMB 24 is currently deployed to Al Anbar province, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Freedom Alliance was organized in 1990 to provide support and encouragement to military members around the world through concerts, scholarships, sponsorships and a multitude of other events.
