An interior room of the Sultan Saqi shrine here is lit by afternoon light. Restoration work on the building, located in an on-base cemetery, included running electricity to the shrine for lights and power outlets. According to officials at the Defense Department's Human Terrain Team here, Turkmen claim descendants of a cousin of the prophet Muhammad is buried in the Sultan Saqi shrine.
