Philip Broom of the Tuskegee Airmen signs an autograph for Kasie Nwaohu-Amadi, a chemist with the 379th Expeditionary Logistic Readiness Squadron, during the Tuskegee Airmen's visit to the base, Apr. 22, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Mr. Broom served as a Staff Sgt. during World War II as an engine mechanic with the Tuskegee Airmen. Nwaohu-Amadi is native to Dayton, Ohio and is deployed from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The Tuskegee Airmen toured operations and spoke with numerous personnel here supporting Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa on base sharing their stories and history when they served in the military.
