U.S. Army Maj. Gen. John R. O’Connor, commanding general, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, presents certificates of appreciation to associates of Kaiserslautern Military Clothing in front of the Wounded Heroes Service Center, Sept. 11, 2014, on Kleber Kaserne, Germany. The associates (from left to right), Deniz Barcala, store manager, Darla Maceachern, senior store associate, and Rainelda Rennwald, supervisor, were recognized for providing service to more than 4,000 wounded service members since the center opened in January 2013. Located in the Exchange’s Military Clothing, the center is a renovated 720-square-foot facility featuring wheelchair-accessible ramps, automatic doors, handicap-accessible bathrooms and dressing rooms as well as additional registers to better serve wounded service members as they obtain new and replacement uniform items.
