Michael Begier, U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal Plant Health Inspection Service, points out bird tracks near the flightline of an air base in southwest Asia, Feb. 23. The 386th Air Expeditionary Wing Safety Office asked Mr. Begier to look over their bird aircraft strike hazard plan during a visit to the area of responsibility in February.
