Dr. Ralf Roloff, senior German professor at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, talks about the security of Europe and the impact on the business and economic environment to 86 Munich International School seniors during their visit Sept. 11 to the Marshall Center here. This is the second year that the Marshall Center has hosted the event for MIS seniors studying business and economics. This year, seniors studying history were also on the tour. Since there is not a Department of Defense Dependents School here, most of the high school students of Marshall Center staff attend MIS, which is a private international school in Stanberg, south of Munich. The mission of the Marshall Center is to create a more stable security environment by advancing democratic institutions and relationships, especially in the field of defense; promoting active, peaceful security cooperation; and enhancing enduring partnerships among the nations of North America, Europe and Eurasia.
