Naval aircrewmen, assigned to Helicopter Combat Squadron 22 Sea Knights, conduct search and rescue training with Marines aboard a UH-1Y Huey helicopter, assigned to Marine Medium Tilt-Rotor Squadron-263. The multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) is the flagship for the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
