Airman participate in a nine-day long exercise, Vigilant Blue, at the Air National Guard base here in Reno. The base will run training scenarios, including response to simulated chemical weapons attacks, active shooter response drills, and various “wartime” tasks. There will also be “prepare the force exercises” simulating the deployment of Guardsmen and cargo. Senior Airman McCollum, Senior Airman Boles and Airman Smith discuss proper setup of the Contamination Control Area.
