    NOME, Alaska - Chief Petty Officer Luis Nieves with Sector Anchorage shows a Nome high school student the proper way to carry a weapon during the Alaskan Native Outreach Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at Nome Beltz Junior and Senior High School. Nieves is a Coast Guard reservist and works for the Alaska State Troopers in Kotzebue. He answered law enforcement questions and demonstrated Coast Guard weapons and law enforcement gear to youth during the three-day outreach in Nome, Kotzebue and Barrow from Sept. 23-25.
