LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 30, 2003)--SA J.D. peacock takes his turn on the catwalk presenting a book at the Book Expo at the Los Angeles convention center May 30th. First Book and National Book Bank distribute books to inner-city children. The Coast Guard provides warehouse space for the books during transit and distribution. Many books are a child's first book.
