Hanshew and Palmer, both food service specialists with 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division are the reigning “Top Chefs” for XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, winning 2010 and 2011 best chef competitions respectively.

O’Brian Palmer, a food service specialist with 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division receives a plaque from Highland Country Club executive chef Russell Neff following a two-week internship he earned by placing first in the XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg 2011 best chef competition. By placing first in the competition Palmer also won a tandem skydive opportunity with the world famous Golden Knights Army Parachute Team.
