Members of Kenya Prison Service participate in Basic Sea Survival training given recently by Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa's (CJTF-HOA) 411th Civil Affairs Battalion and Maritime Civil Affairs Team 212 and members from several Kenyan organizations in Mtwapa, Kenya. The purpose of the training strengthens security in Kenya. Where prisoners, including violent extremists, use the waterways to escape and many guards do not know how to swim, enabling the prisoners to get away.
