Army Maj. Reinaldo "Monte" Montero takes command today of the 107th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment during a change of command ceremony at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center. Montero assumed command from Maj. David D. Ross, who has been with the unit for more than a decade, including their 2009 deployment to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The new commander will be leading the unit during their upcoming second tour at Joint Task Force Guantanamo.
