In honor of U.S. Naval Engineer, Raye Montague, this wall mural was created for display in the newly renamed Raye Montague Center for Maritime Technology building at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division in West Bethesda, Maryland.
This graphic artwork includes her portrait, a summary of her accomplishments, and a QR code linked to a video interview of Ms. Montague. Carderock unveiled this wall mural during the official building renaming ceremony that took place on Feb. 15, 2024, in West Bethesda, Maryland. This mural is graphic 1 out of a 3-part wall display titled, A Navy Hero Revealed. This 43.5” x 36” graphic was designed using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator and is shared as a .pdf document.
This visual campaign was designed to educate its viewers about the pioneering career and contributions made by Raye Montague to the U.S. Navy, to inspire innovation, and to offer hope knowing that persevering in the face of challenges can bring forth success.
