Alfredo Franco, the battalion’s sergeant major, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, stands ready to greet the former Marines of K Co., 3/7. ‘Cutting Edge’ Marines, old and new, stood face-to-face at Del Valle Field, Sept. 11, 2014 to strengthen the timeless bond shared between those who served in the same company, even if generations apart.
