CLC-11 Marine provides power to 3rd MAW assetsEngineer equipment electrical systems technicians with Combat Logistics Company 11, Combat Logistics Regiment 15, provide a valuable service to units aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif. The technicians of CLC-11, commonly referred to as generator mechanics, provide a way to power communications equipment, medical equipment, lights, air conditioning and heat among other necessities by repairing the gear other units can’t fix themselves.


SPMAGTF 3 leads RIMPAC from the sea
Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Exercise 2014 is the largest maritime exercise in the Pacific region. It includes 22 partner nations, 25,000 people and is headed up by Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 3, July 18.


LA, Sacramento teachers see how Marines are made
RS LA / RS Sac Educators' WorkshopHigh school educators, counselors and administrators from the Recruiting Stations Los Angeles and Sacramento, Calif., area participated in an Educator Workshop July 7 through 11 aboard various Marine Corps installations in San Diego. The Educator Workshop Program gathers teachers from across the nation to provide a glimpse into what it takes to become a Marine, what obstacles prospective Marines may face when choosing to join the armed services. Discussions about education benefits, job opportunities, as well as a chance to speak face to face with recruit Marines and drill instructors are all offered during the program.

Combat Logistics Battalion 24 Mass Casualty Evacuation DrillMarines and Sailors with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Logistics Combat Element, Combat Logistics Battalion 24, and Ground Combat Element, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines, took part in a week-long mass casualty, or “masscas”, training exercise, July 14-18, 2014, at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C.
