Invisible Logistics: 21st TSC makes OAR support transparentGen. Dwight D. Eisenhower said of logistics, “You will not find it difficult to prove that battles, campaigns, and even wars have been won or lost primarily because of logistics.” For one command in Europe, the art of making operational support transparent has been an ongoing mission.

7th CSC CBRN Soldiers train in SloveniaSoldiers from the 773rd Civil Support Team, 7th Civil Support Command, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, participated in a three-day European Command sponsored information exchange and training event with the Slovenian Armed Forces’ 1st Brigade, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Company and U.S. Army Colorado National Guard CST Soldiers Sept. 17-19.

173rd receives fond farewell after training with Polish militaryMembers of Company D, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade based in Vicenza, Italy met with several key members of the Polish military and the mayor of Drawsko-Pomorskie, Poland Sept. 17 here for an outgoing ceremony as they prepared to depart the region, ending their rotation in Poland as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The operation is a multi-national training exercise designed to improve interoperability and showcase North Atlantic Treaty Organization forces’ strength throughout the region.


Cavalry Soldiers Train at GTA
Swapping out barracksAmerican Soldiers assigned to Troop K, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment conducted weapons familiarization and qualification at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Sept. 18, 2014. The training refreshed seasoned Soldiers, in addition to providing newer members of the unit the hands on weapon training.
