New York Army National Guard pilot tackles Bataan Death March MemorialNew York Army National Guard UH-60 pilot Warrant Officer John Seeger decided that he was going to take part in the 25th anniversary Bataan Memorial Death March this past March in White Sands,New Mexico. Despite lack of training time, and painful blisters, Seeger finished the march and learned something about himself.

Officer candidates, cadets conduct joint exercise as training nears completionSoldiers in the South Dakota Army National Guard’s Officer Candidate School and cadets in the Reserve Officer Training Corps from universities throughout South Dakota and western Nebraska consolidated training for a joint exercise, April 10-13 on West Camp Rapid. The programs are in the final months of preparing senior level candidates and cadets to commission as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army or S.D. Army National Guard.
