DoDLive Bloggers Roundtable with Mrs. Laura Stultz (wife of Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz, Chief, Army Reserve and Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command). Mrs. Stultz, discussed the amazing transformation of family programs and resources over her 35 years as an Army spouse. She explained that there is more to be done will take questions on developing sustainable programs that support the unique needs of the Army Reserve family, including Army Strong Community Centers.

  • Military spouses, as you already know, are the backbone of the military family. Without the spousal support, how would our soldiers, airmen, sailors, and Marines continue to accomplish the mission? 

In honor of military spouses, we held a DoDLive Bloggers Roundtable with Meg O'Grady, director of the Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP) and Dr. Cathy Flynn, program analyst with Military Community & Family Policy on Friday, Nov. 16. Dr. Flynn and Mrs. O'Grady discussed key initiatives related to military spouses employment and overall military family lifestyle.
  • DoDLive recently held a Bloggers Roundtable with John Johnson, Chief, Quality Assurance Division for the U.S. Army’s Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.

Mr. Johnson serves as a senior level traffic management specialist for the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personal Property with managerial responsibility over the Qualifications and Operations Teams for the Defense Personal Property Program (DP3).  He discussed ways Department of Defense and U.S. Coast Guard service members, and families, can improve/enhance their PCS experience, especially when moving household goods during the peak moving season.
  • DoDLive Bloggers Roundtable with Robert L. Gordon III, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Military Community and Family Policy).

Mr. Gordon discussed Volunteer Appreciation Week.
  • DoDLive Bloggers Roundtable with United States Air Force Maj. Gen. Michael A. Keltz, director for Strategic Planning and Policy, U.S. Pacific Command.
