Mine Counter Warfare is an important part of the Navy’s mission. USS Patriot has been conducting training exercises since it was commissioned in 1991. The crew of the USS Patriot deployed to South Korea for mission Clear Horizon 2012. For this mission, American and South Korean Navies join forces for mine counter measure training exercises.
