Mr. Willy Morris talks to a Daily Union Extra reporter about how he received the Congressional Gold Medal Wednesday, June 27 during a ceremony in Emancipation Hall of the Capitol Visitors Center. Montford Point Marine representative, Mr. William McDowell, will accept the medal, which is the highest civilian honor awarded as the utmost expression of national appreciation for distinguished achievements and contributions, on behalf of all Montford point Marines.
