    Combined Joint Task Force 1 - Afghanistan

    Radio on soldiers from Gun Dog Company, 2-35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd BCT, 25th ID, Task Force Bronco securing the Pech River Valley in eastern Afghanistan's Kunar province for a humanitarian aid convoy to safely deliver supplies to isolated Afghans. Almost daily, they came under fierce attack by insurgents swarming the dangerous valley. The joint operation helped secure Route Road Island to deliver more than 200 tons of grain, rice, school supplies and other humanitarian aid.
