41st Airlift Squadron loadmaster Staff Sgt. Lindsey Thornton had the honor of flying with local Singapore media, the Brunei Minister of Defence and Jori Haji Abdullah, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force aboard his aircraft which has been the highlight of his crew's trip to Singapore.

"The flight with the media was really good time; we really enjoyed that because everyone was really excited about the flight after we landed," said Thornton.
During the flight, Thornton made sure everyone was well taken care of by providing a safety briefing prior to take off as well as a guided tour throughout the plane with enlightening amount of information of it's history.

"I really enjoyed this flight; the crew was nice in explaining every question that I had about the plane," said Abdullah.

This particular model was requested by Lockheed to be at the Airshow because it is one of the newest C-130 J-Models in the U.S. Air Force and is only 18 months old. It has the newest aerial systems available.
