Command Sgt. Maj. Michael Bobb of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, and Command Sgt. Maj. Husseh of the 2nd Battalion, 1st Mechanized Bde., Iraq's ministry of interior's only mechanized national police unit, joined forces May 28 to conduct ISF checkpoint inspections. Bobb, who hails from the Islands of Trinidad, and Husseh traveled to five NP checkpoints in the Rashid district of southern Baghdad to meet with Iraqi soldiers, non-commissioned officers and leaders and address issues of uniformity, standards and discipline. The Raider BCT will recognize exceptional Iraqi NCOs and their soldiers who meet and exceed standards in their duties to serve and protect the estimated 1.2 million Iraqis in Rashid.
