KABUL, Afghanistan - An International Security Assistance Force service member was killed during a hostile incident in southern Afghanistan, April 8.
"My sincere condolences to the family of this brave service member," said Captain Mark Durkin, ISAF spokesman. "We will always remember the sacrifice of our service members as we continue to support the people of Afghanistan."
It is ISAF policy not to release the nationality of any casualty prior to the relevant national authority doing so.
