Company B, 610th Brigade Support Battalion
BAGHDAD – Forces Command recently tapped a Multi-National Division-Baghdad unit as a finalist in a maintenance competition.
Company B, 610th Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Inf. Div. based at Fort Riley, Kan. was named a finalist for the Army Award for Maintenance Excellence FY07 in the Small Unit Category.
"The Soldiers of Titan Company are truly honored to be selected as the Small Category finalist for the AAME by FORSCOM," said Capt. Kyle Moulton, the unit commander and an Omaha, Neb. native. "Considering all of the other units competing in this category says a lot about the dedication to duty and the sacrifices our Soldiers have made in support of Dragon Brigade."
The competition is an annual awards program prescribed in AR 750-1, Army Maintenance Policy and is subdivided into several categories to include active and Reserve components and small, medium, and large units.
All of the winning units will be nominated to the Department of the Army-level for the competition with the winners being announced by DA sometime in April.
The Soldiers of the Company B, 'Titan,' take great pride in providing the best maintenance support to the Dragon Brigade and appreciate the recognition by 1st Infantry Division and FORSCOM.
