    ANA, ISAF doctors bring medical care to Bagh E Nazargah Village

    KABUL, Afghanistan – The Afghan national army and International Security Assistance Force doctors visited Bagh E Nazargah Village in Herat province to bring health care to the local population recently.

    Four ANA doctors and one Italian, female doctor from the Herat Provincial Reconstruction Team treated 42 males, 64 females and 84 children.

    The main ailments were gastro intestinal disease, ear nose and throat problems, respiratory complications, muscular skeletal and climatic injury pain, according to doctors.

    Additionally, the elders received oil, rice and beans. The locals expressed great appreciation for the help brought to the population from the ANA and ISAF.

    "These kinds of activities are useful not only to improve the quality of life of the population but also to reinforce their trust in ISAF," said Lt. Col. Giacobb, Regional Command West Medical Advisor.

    This activity is part of a larger plan carried out by ISAF forces in order to help the local population with every means possible in overcoming the trials of winter.
