U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment (2/3), Regimental Combat Team 1 (RCT-1), hand out school supplies during the Cooperative Medical Engagement (CME), in Rashad, Iraq on June 24, 2008. The CME was conducted with elements of the Army Civil Affairs Detachment, Echo Company, and Headquarters and Service Company, 2/3, as well as Combat Logistics Battalion 1, and RCT-1, in order to provide free health care for the citizens of Rashad, Iraq.
