Spc. Darren M. Brady Jr., an infantryman for 1st Battalion, 55th Infantry Regiment, Brookhaven, Miss., is a .50 Caliber and M249 Squad Automatic Weapon gunner for mail delivery convoys leaving Forward Operating Base Kalsu, Iraq. Brady is a Soldier/Athlete currently deployed with the Mississippi Army National Guard with a baseball scholarship to Southern Mississippi University waiting for him upon his return home.
