Staff Sgt. Chris Pournaras, a native of Bay Shore, N.Y., and CH-53E quality and assurance representative with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 163 (Reinforced), which the Aviation Combat Element of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, uses a high-powered hose to wash away any dirt off the back tail of a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter during an agricultural wash down July 11. This is the ACE's final requirement before the 13th MEU is allowed re-entry to the United States. The 13th MEU/Boxer Amphibious Ready Group are in the last stages of their seven-month deployment and are journeying through the Pacific Ocean en route home.
