Tech. Sgt. Nathan Schasse, 817th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, folds a pair of night vision goggles up and down to ensure they lock in both upper and lower positions at an air base in Southwest Asia, June 18. Along with checking the locking positions the goggles are also checked to make sure they release properly from the helmet mount. Sergeant Schasse is deployed from McChord Air Force Base, Wash., and is originally from Madison, Wis.
