Iraqi colors adorn the entrance to Joint Security Station Aamel, where the 2nd Battalion, 5th Brigade, 2nd National Police Division conducts daily security operations, Jan. 1, in the Rashid District of southern Baghdad. The Iraq flag will fly at every JSS and headquarters building in Baghdad, in accordance with Iraq's security agreement, which took effect Jan. 1. Soldiers from Company A, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, also conduct combined military operations from the JSS.
